Pleasant hotel, good location in the center and excellent staff. Location not far from the old town centre, banks and shops and the cathedral, and the restaurant for lunch. For shots visit Le Toulzac, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the venue.

charming, charming, charming
I was blown away by the historical charm of the hotel, with its rustic decor and medieval beams bringing a unique character to the experience. The breakfast served in the former wine cellar was a good surprise. Their on-site restaurant impressed me, especially the exquisite local cuisine which showcases regional specialties.
totally recommend 😊❤️

The restaurant at La Truffe Noire was excellent. Very good food and attentive staff. Dinner was served in a large airy room off the main entrance. Breakfast was also good, but the breakfast room downstairs was a bit claustrophobic.
The second floor bedroom, despite being listed as a "grand double room", was small and rather shabby, as was the bathroom. The facilities were not great and not particularly clean and were very poor value for money. The restaurant was very good, but the hotel needs complete updating and refurbishment to justify the price charged. The location of the hotel was quite good, but we were only just able to squeeze the car into the car park and were lucky to find a space at all, despite having been assured that there was plenty of free parking space.

Lovely building/interiors, tantalising smells from the restaurant.
Far too expensive and breakfast nor dinner were included

The hotel is a bit old fashioned but very conveniently located. The old part of the city and good restaurants. There is very limited parking, but the stuff is friendly packing the place with as many cars as possible. If you need to leave early, you need to tell the hotel.
I did not like to have breakfast in a cellar and nobody offering to set a table for us upstairs or in the nice garden.

The hotel restaurant was open when nothing else within walking distance was. It had a lift.
Very poor value for the money. Don't be confused by the price or fancy looking restaurant out front. This hotel is not a good value for the money. After seeing the room, I would not have eaten in the restaurant if anything else within walking distance had been open. The fish was good and the vegetables well prepared and presented. However, one of the sauces, thankfully served on the side, tasted like a new vinyl beach ball smells. I am a very experienced traveller and felt I was "taken" by this hotel. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Absolutely no view from my room.

Pretty basic but good French 3 star. Friendly staff, good French restaurant (ie no burger and chips!).
Rooms a little dated, but typically French of it genre.
